Fiberglass Geogrid knitted with nonwoven fabric is an Aspahlt reinforcement Geocomposite. It is
specifically designed for asphalt reinforcement with an additional moisture proofing benefit. Its composite
characteristic provides a continuous non-deforming water resistant barrier. The geogrid is bitumen coated
which ensures proper adhesion to the asphalt layers over the tack coat surface, and further optimizes the
chemical compatibility between the fiberglass reinforcement and the pavement overlay to create a solid bond
of the asphalt layers over the tack coat surface. This bond ensures that the reinforcing grid is in a position to
effectively accept and distribute tensile stresses.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) perforated geocells are a type of geosynthetic product used in civil engineering, particularly for soil stabilization, erosion control, and load support applications. They are three-dimensional, honeycomb-like structures made from HDPE sheets that are ultrasonically welded together to form a strong and flexible confinement system.
Polyester Geogrid stitched with ultra-light nonwoven fabric is Geocomposite made from high-modulus polyester polymer geogrid and non-woven fabric all coated with bitumen to achieve a strong bond to the asphalt. The nonwoven simplifies installation and ensures continuous bond between the layers. This excellent adhesion allows Geocomposite to take up and evenly distribute tensile forces, and provide an effective method of preventing reflective cracking in asphalt layers. The good bonding of Geocomposite to the substrate greatly reduces the rucking / pick-up of the geogrid due to the passage of construction / paving machinery as compared to stiffer products having ‘roll’ memory.
LIANYI PP Biaxial Geogrid Composite Geotextile is traditional polypropylene extruded biaxial geogrid thermally bonded with a continous filament nonwoven geotextile. This Biaxial Geogrid Composite is perfect for reinforcement, road construction and other uses in civil engineering where reinforcement and separation are required. The Geogrid composite nature makes it very easy and fast to install when compared to traditional Geogrid separation product cross-sections. This Biaxial Geogrid Composite material is very effective in maintaining the separation of imported granular fill from the fines contained in typical saturated base soils.
