Steel-plastic composite geogrid is made using high-strength steel wires (or other fibers) that have been specially treated, combined with polyethylene (P.E) and other auxiliary materials. These materials are extruded to form a composite high-strength tensile strip. The surface of the strip has a rough embossed texture, making it a reinforced plastic strip. This single strip is then warp-knitted both longitudinally and transversely. Using special ultra-sonic welding process, the joints are welded to form a reinforced geogrid.
